Apple Share?
Ah, hurrah. I've started having little boxes appearing telling me my copy of iChat AV is about to expire. And I can't find the plain old version on apple's site any more.
I feel like I'm being blackmailed into buying Panther.

er...."revert to ichat 1.0" under the ichat menu is perhaps what you need.
there are rumours that the full version of ichat AV that comes with Panther can be made to work under Jaguar...but I wouldnt comment on something like that....

That would be the thing I needed yes.
But I cracked and bought Panther anyway... it's that disposable income thing - it's wonderful.
