Big fan of Matt Jones' warchalking, and blogchalking, and even plasticbag's whorechalking, so I can't believe it took me so long to stumble across Gary Turner's Chalkchalking
It's got a beautiful logical simplicity to it - very Armando Ianucci.

believe me, i have my finger on the pulse of the cultural zeitgeist thingummybobdoodah, and chalking is very last week. the future is felt-tipping. you heard it here first.

actually, i'm performing a psychological study into blackboard rubbing out techniques, you know, how short sharp strokes starting from the left of the board signify deep seated anxieties over paternal relationship issues during years 4-9 - long, random strokes denote confidence and potential leadership qualities, a hesitant action suggests unwillingness to move on in life, to dwell on the past. etc. Currently looking for funding to complete the study by 2003.
